Accessibility Statement

Elk Creek Genetics wants everyone to be able to use our website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and interface elements are designed for strong color contrast against our dark background.
• Carousels and scrollers can be paused and operated with buttons, and automatic movement stops when you hover, focus, or touch it. We respect your device's "reduce motion" setting by turning off automatic movement and large animations.
• Menus, dialogs (including the age check), and forms use proper labels and roles so screen readers can announce them.
• Pages are responsive and work at different screen sizes and when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

Parts of our site rely on third-party content, such as the Higher Origins store locator embed and review links on other platforms. We do not control the accessibility of those services, but we provide direct links so you can use them in their own pages.
